Meet Robert Robbins

Many couples seek out a Marriage and Family Therapist when they know they need some help and the fighting or silence becomes the norm. the truth is that in therapy finding the root of the problem is fairly simple which also means the solutions is simple. That doesn't mean simple is easy. The hard part is application, which is the coaching process to guide you through the steps towards new habits and better communication skills.

The Approach - Why "Therapy" and "Coaching"
Your Journey

Let's be honest, therapy is not fun and it's not easy. But you're not here for therapy or coaching, you're here for the results of a better life. We lay out what the issues are and how to get there. I will provide new tools and techniques through the first 12 weeks to reestablish better understanding, communication, accountability, and connection. Most couples will be able to see a clear change in 4-6 months and a healthier consistent relationship in 6-18 months. After that, I have an open door policy to check in for maintenance but you should be where you want to be in less than two years.

Credentials and Experience

Unlike “Relationship Coaches” or “Life Coaches” (which do not have a regulated board or official credentialing program), I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. This means I finished 3000 hours of working with couples and individuals after grad school as an intern before I could become licensed. Then logged over 15,000 hours over the next decade and a half working with couples. Along the way went through several programs in coaching to widen my scope along with finishing up my dissertation for my PhD at Liberty University.

The truth is, who cares about all the letters behind my name. You’re here to get better, and I’m here to help you get there.
